Terms of Service

By accessing or using Platovo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Platovo provides:

• • Online ordering platform for restaurants
• • Menu management tools
• • Payment processing integration
• • Order management dashboard
• • Customer notification services

To use the Service, you must:

• • Provide accurate and complete registration information
• • Be at least 18 years old
• • Have legal authority to operate your restaurant business
• • Keep your account credentials secure

You are responsible for all activities under your account, except for actions taken by Platovo staff as described in Section 4.

Platovo staff may sign in to your account to provide support — most commonly to build or import your menu when you have asked us to, or to investigate a problem you have reported.

If you ask us to set your restaurant up for you, that work includes publishing your ordering site, which makes it visible to the public and able to take orders. That is the service you requested: we build the site and put it live, and we email you as soon as it is. You can take it offline again, or pause orders, at any time from your dashboard.

Whenever we access your account:

• • We email you at the time, naming the staff member and the reason
• • Every change we make appears in your Activity log, recorded under our name rather than yours — including publishing your site
• • We cannot change your password, staff PIN, or manager refund PIN, and we cannot reach your billing, your payment methods, or your connected bank account
• • We cannot see or export your customer list, refund an order, or send marketing in your name

We access accounts only for the purposes above. If you receive one of these emails and were not expecting it, reply to it and we will end the session immediately.

Free Trial: New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features.

Subscription: After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription. Current pricing is available on our website.

Payment: Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. All payments are non-refundable except as required by law.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Platovo uses Stripe to process customer payments. By using our payment features, you also agree to:

• • Stripe's Terms of Service
• • Stripe Connected Account Agreement

Stripe's standard processing fees apply to all transactions. Platovo does not charge additional transaction fees.

As a restaurant using Platovo, you agree to:

• • Provide accurate menu information and pricing
• • Fulfill orders in a timely manner
• • Maintain valid food service licenses and permits
• • Handle customer complaints and refunds appropriately
• • Comply with all applicable food safety regulations
• • Not use the platform for illegal activities

Restaurants are responsible for their own refund policies. However:

• • Scheduled orders may be cancelled by customers up to 2 hours before pickup/delivery time
• • Refunds for cancelled orders are processed automatically
• • Restaurants may issue refunds at their discretion through the dashboard
• • Refund processing time is 5-10 business days

Our Content: The Platovo platform, including software, design, and branding, is owned by Platovo and protected by copyright and trademark laws.

Your Content: You retain ownership of your restaurant content (menus, images, descriptions). You grant us a license to display this content as part of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• • Platovo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• • Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months
• • We are not responsible for disputes between restaurants and their customers
• • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• • You violate these Terms of Service
• • You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• • You fail to pay subscription fees
• • Your use harms other users or the platform

Upon termination, your access to the Service will end, but we will provide your data export upon request.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiation between the parties
2. Mediation, if negotiation fails
3. Binding arbitration as a last resort

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
