How to take catering orders and invoices online

Put catering on its own menu category with an advance-notice rule, so customers can only order it for a time far enough ahead; for larger or custom jobs, send an invoice the customer pays online by card. On Platovo, catering orders carry no commission, and invoices carry a 0.4% fee plus card processing.

A catering menu customers can order from

  1. Create a catering category

Mark a menu category as catering: trays, platters, boxed lunches, priced per tray or per person.

  2. Set the notice you need

Choose how many hours ahead catering must be ordered (24 hours by default). Customers can only pick a time far enough ahead.

  3. Take it like any order

Catering orders arrive in the kitchen app, marked with their scheduled time.

Invoices for custom jobs

For an office lunch for 80 or a wedding, send an invoice from Platovo. The customer pays by card online, and the money goes to your Stripe account. Platovo's fee on invoices is 0.4%, and Stripe's card fee applies.
