How to run your own restaurant delivery, without the apps
To deliver without the apps, decide which area you will cover, what you will charge, the minimum order, and how long it takes; then take delivery orders on your own ordering page and send your own staff. You keep the 20–30% commission, and you pay a driver's time instead.

Decide the basics
- Area. Start small: how far can a driver get and back in 20–25 minutes at your busiest time? Draw that as your zone, or list the postal codes.
- Fee. Cover a driver's time and fuel. Many restaurants charge a flat fee per zone, higher for the far zone.
- Minimum order. Makes a trip worth it. A far zone can have a higher minimum.
- Time. Quote a range you can meet on a Friday, not a quiet Tuesday.
Setting it up in Platovo
Draw your zones
Draw each delivery area on the map, or enter postal codes (for example M5V, M6P). Add as many zones as you like.
Set fee, minimum and time per zone
Each zone has its own delivery fee, minimum order and estimated delivery time, shown to customers before they order.
Choose when you deliver
Delivery follows your opening hours. Customers can schedule orders ahead.
Take the order in the kitchen
Delivery orders arrive in the kitchen app with the address and phone number, with the same repeating alert as pickup.
When to keep the apps for delivery
If you have nobody to drive, or a driver would sit idle most of the evening, the app's commission is paying for something real. A common split: your own page for pickup and nearby delivery, apps for far addresses and new customers.
Questions restaurants ask
Does Platovo provide drivers?

Can I offer pickup only?
Yes. Delivery is off until you turn it on and add a zone.
