GloriaFood is shutting down. Here is how to move your online ordering.

Oracle will end GloriaFood on April 30, 2027; after that date its ordering pages, widgets and order-taking app stop working. Restaurants have until then to choose a new ordering system, move their menu, and send customers to the new link. Platovo is one replacement: your own ordering page with 0% commission for $79.99 a month, and it imports your menu from a photo, a PDF or a web page.

What is changing, and when

GloriaFood's own site states that the service reaches end of life on April 30, 2027, and that Oracle does not offer a direct replacement. Until then, existing restaurants keep working. (GloriaFood notice, read October 2026.)

That means every "See menu & order" button on a restaurant website, every Facebook ordering tab and every Google ordering link that points at GloriaFood will stop taking orders on that date. Customers who tap them will not reach you.

What to save before you switch

  • Your menu. Take screenshots of every category, or print your public GloriaFood menu page to PDF. Include sizes, options and add-ons with their prices.
  • Your customer list. Export or copy the names and emails of customers who agreed to hear from you, so you can tell them about your new ordering link.
  • Your settings. Write down delivery zones, delivery fees, minimum orders, opening hours, pickup and delivery times, and any promotions you run.
  • Where your links are. List every place that links to GloriaFood: your website, Google Business Profile, Facebook, Instagram, printed menus and QR codes.
  • Your order history and sales reports, for your accounts.

How to choose a replacement

GloriaFood was free to use, so any replacement will cost something. Compare the total for a normal month, not only the subscription:

  • Commission or per-order fees. Some systems charge a percentage of each order, a fixed fee per order, or a fee to your customers. Over a month these can cost more than a subscription.
  • Card processing. Every card payment costs something. Check the rate and who it is paid to.
  • Where the money goes. Ideally card payments land in your own account, not the provider's.
  • How the kitchen hears an order. An order that sits unnoticed is worse than no order. Look for a loud, repeating alert.
  • Contracts and setup fees. Month to month is safer while you find out if a system suits you.

Moving to Platovo, step by step

  1. Start a free trial

14 days free, no credit card. You can build and preview everything before customers see it.

  2. Import your GloriaFood menu

Upload the screenshots or PDF you saved, or give Platovo the address of your menu page. Review every dish, price and option, then publish.

  3. Set up how you take orders

Add your hours, pickup times, delivery zones, fees and minimum order. Scheduled orders let customers order ahead, including while you are closed.

  4. Connect payments and the kitchen

Card payments go to your own Stripe account (2.9% + C$0.30 per domestic card in Canada); you can also accept cash on pickup. Pair an Android tablet with the Platovo kitchen app and send a test alert.

  5. Run both for a few days

Keep GloriaFood live while the first orders come through on Platovo, so nobody is turned away during the change.

  6. Replace every link

Point your website button, Google Business Profile, Facebook and Instagram at your Platovo link, and reprint QR codes. Then switch GloriaFood off.

  7. Tell your customers

Email the customers you saved with your new link, and post it. Platovo makes branded social posts and flyers from your menu; once customers order on Platovo, you can email them offers from it too.

Questions restaurants ask

When does GloriaFood stop working?

GloriaFood reaches end of life on April 30, 2027, according to the notice on its own website. After that its ordering pages and apps stop taking orders.

Will my GloriaFood menu move over automatically?

No provider can copy it directly from GloriaFood. Save screenshots or a PDF of your menu, and Platovo builds your new menu from them for you to review.

Can I keep my prices the same?

Yes. Platovo takes no commission, so there is no reason to raise online prices above what you charge in the restaurant.

Do I need a new website?

No. Platovo gives you an ordering page with its own link. Point the "Order online" button on your current website at it.

What if I am in the United States?

Platovo works in the United States and Canada, at $79.99 USD or CAD a month.
